Como resolver a mensagem "Insert Status Disk and press OK" no Windows 7?

Já faz um bom tempo (na verdade, nem me lembro quando isso começou) que, toda vez que inicio o Notebook, aparece a mensagem:

"the feature you are trying to use is on a
CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not
available.
