Como resolver a mensagem "Insert Status Disk and press OK" no Windows 7?

Já faz um bom tempo (na verdade, nem me lembro quando isso começou) que, toda vez que inicio o Notebook, aparece a mensagem:

"the feature you are trying to use is on a
CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not
available.

insert the "Status" disk and click OK.

Eu gostaria de saber o que significa e como posso resolver esse problema, já que tenho que clicar em "cancel" umas 20 vezes até a mensagem sumir. Por favor, expliquem em termos compreensíveis, afinal, eu realmente não sou um mestre no assunto.
