Qual e a linguagem de programação para se aprender solo?

Não sou muito bom em programação...sei pascal...ja ajuda a fazer coisas simples...mas eu gostaria de saber qual e a linguagem mais tranquila para aprender sozinho...pois pascal eu aprendi pegando tutoriais na internet...ai vem a minha duvida...baxei alguns de Java, C/C++, C#, VB e outras...manjo tambem de Assembly...não sei se ajuda na hora de escolher...e cada apostila de uma dessas linguagens falam que ela e simples...so que um pouco complicado de aprender sozinho...
