Kim Ye-ji (Imsil County Office), a silver medalist in shooting who garnered attention for her chic and cool expression at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will appear as a killer.

Asia Lab Entertainment announced on the 19th through a press release, "Shooter Kim Ye-ji has been cast as a killer in the short-form series 'Crush', a spin-off of the movie 'Asia'."

'Asia' is a film directed by Lee Jeong-seop, and is a work about racial hatred and discrimination that features a multinational cast from the United States and over seven Asian countries.

Kim Ye-ji was co-cast as a killer along with Indian actress Anushka Sen, who has over 40 million followers on social media. Director Lee Jung-seop, who is also the head and producer of Asia Lab, said, "The killer co-casting of Sen and Kim Ye-ji for the 'Asia' spin-off short-form series will be an opportunity to bring innovation to global short-form series."

Ryu Min-guk, the CEO of Kim Ye-ji's agency, PPhil, said, "Kim Ye-ji will debut as an actress playing the role of a charming killer with world-class actors," and expressed his expectations by saying, "When the work is released, it will be a great gift to fans around the world."
